Volunteer Opportunities
All new volunteers are supervised until training completed and/or passed off  tasks by volunteer coordinator based on area of volunteering

been around horses?
Or not comfortable around horses?
But want to learn how to be safe and comfortable with horses?

Direct Care such as:
Feed, Fresh Water, Hay
Stall cleaning
Putting horses in/out of stalls
Transfering pastures
Pasture care

Training horses

Can you volunteer without direct horse contact?


There are many volunteer hours needed that do not require direct contact with horses

Do you need a certain level of physical strength or weight to volunteer?


Many tasks do not require physical ability or fitness. Then there are needs that require very light to very streneous activity. Many volunteers start with light activity and find theselves getting stronger the longer and more often they volunteer.

  • Promotions/Fundraisers
  • Web updates
  • Manning booths at public events
  • Office records such as intake records, adoption follow-up, scheduling and schedule volunteer hours
  • Liason with community groups, scheduling appointments
  • Ambassador for potential and current adopters
